Dear Manatee County Resident and Concerned Citizen - Call to Prayer

Published on August 15, 2022

There is a humanitarian crisis in our community regarding rental housing, especially for low-income families.  The board of the non-profit Help To Home Inc. is  trying to help in this crisis by developing the 53-unit Hope Village housing project.  The goal of Hope Village is to help “minimum wage” parents and their children stabilize their lives, improve their income and build a stronger, financially secure family.  This will be a temporary housing program, and at the end of two years, we hope our residents will have enhanced their life skills, education, etc. to be able to get better jobs and become financially independent.

Attached to this email is a brochure that describes the Hope Village plan in more detail.

Hope Village is now entering the critical phase when the development and construction is being finalized and we are beginning our fund raising.  This email is NOT to ask for funds at this time.  Rather, this email is to request that you:

  1. Commit to regular prayer for the design of Hope Village and that the fund raising will be fruitful, and
  2. Share this email to at least 10 of your friends who you think might like to pray for Hope Village.  Please also ask your friends to share it to 10 of their friends, and so on.  In this way we hope to build a strong base of prayer support for the design and funding of Hope Village.

However, do not hesitate to hit the “delete” button if this email request is not something which you feel comfortable embracing.  We know there will be many persons who will feel that way, and many others will be delighted to help build a foundation of prayer for Hope Village.

Sincerely, The board of Help To Home Inc.
