Two more charges have been levelled against veteran high-profile broadcaster Alan Jones with an alleged ninth victim coming forward, police say. On Nov. 18, the broadcaster and former rugby coach was charged with 24 offences against eight people, including indecent and common assault. The newest charges come after New South Wales (NSW) Police received fresh legal advice. Jones has faced pressure over allegations he indecently assaulted several young men and boys during his decades-long career. The allegations were first published by The Sydney Morning Herald in December 2023, which was later revealed to have sparked an investigation by NSW Police.
