
Militia Members Convicted in Plot to Kill Border Patrol Agents, Shooting at FBI
Two militia members, accused of saying they wanted to shoot illegal immigrants, were convicted by a federal trial jury in Jefferson City, Missouri, on Thursday for conspiring to murder U.S. Border Patrol agents and the attempted murder of FBI agents. Jonathan O’Dell, 34, of Warsaw, Missouri, and Bryan Perry, 39, of Clarksville, Tennessee, were each found guilty of over 30 felony counts by the jury after more than two hours of deliberation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri reported said in a statement on Friday. “They planned to travel to Texas to shoot at illegal immigrants crossing the United States-Mexico border.
