Persecution of Falun Gong Adherents Continues as Thousands Reported Imprisoned, Tortured This Year

More than 25 years after China outlawed Falun Gong, the regime’s persecution of the spiritual movement continues unabated, with thousands of Falun Gong adherents arrested, imprisoned, and tortured for their beliefs. The sheer number of victims may be desensitizing Westerners to the atrocities taking place in China, a human rights organization warns.
