LOS ANGELES—A suspect who wounded two Los Angeles Police Department officers during a shootout in South Los Angeles was captured Saturday after a multi-hour manhunt. The suspect was taken into custody at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday. LAPD officers responded to an armed robbery call near the intersection of East 92nd Street and South Central Avenue at 9 p.m. Friday, LAPD Officer Drake Madison told City News Service. As the officers arrived at the scene, the suspect opened fire, striking both officers, Madison said.
