Groups that offer support to gender-questioning children should adhere to the guidelines of the landmark Cass Review, the charity sector’s watchdog has said. The Charity Commission made a statement on wider issues as it published the report into its investigation of the transgender activist charity Mermaids, which has come under fire from parents, educators, and others concerned with child safeguarding because of its practices. In its 22-page report into Mermaids, the watchdog said it had ordered the organisation to review factually incorrect information on its website about puberty blockers being “an internationally recognised safe, reversible healthcare option.” The false statements have now been removed....
