Former Deputy National Security Adviser Daniel Rogers Appointed as New CSIS Director

Daniel Rogers, former deputy national security and intelligence adviser to the prime ninister, has been appointed the new head of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. He succeeds David Vigneault, who stepped down in July as the ninth CSIS director after holding the position for seven years. Rogers will officially assume his role on Oct. 28. Most recently, he has also served as deputy secretary to the Cabinet in the Privy Council Office.
