Israel Tells Lebenese Citizens to Flee Homes Used to Store Hezbollah Weapons

Israel urged residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate homes and other buildings where Hezbollah stores weapons on Monday, as the Jewish state said it was carrying out “extensive strikes” against the terrorist group. This was the first warning of its kind in almost a year of escalating violence, and followed a conspicuously heavy exchange of fire on Sunday. Hezbollah attacked northern Israel with around 150 rockets, missiles and drones as retribution for strikes that killed a top commander and dozens of fighters.
