Los Angeles Police Seek Help Locating Hit-and-Run Suspect

LOS ANGELES—Police are seeking the public’s help Wednesday to find the hit-and-run driver responsible for severely injuring a 63-year-old woman in the Sherman Oaks area. The crash occurred Sept. 6 around 5:54 p.m. when the driver of a black Hyundai sedan traveling westbound on Ventura Boulevard made a left turn onto Costello Avenue and struck a pedestrian crossing in a marked crosswalk, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The vehicle was last seen southbound on Costello Avenue and heading westbound on Davana Terrace. Police said the driver never stopped to help the woman. Paramedics took her to a hospital with severe injuries....
