
Health Canada Recalls Jamp Brand Acetaminophen, Other Medications

Health Canada has issued a recall for several medications, including acetaminophen, distributed by Canadian pharmaceutical firm Jamp Pharma. Jamp’s 325 milligram and 500 milligram tablets of acetaminophen are being recalled because they may contain inaccurate dosages of the active ingredient, Health Canada said. Some of the tablets may have more than the recommended dose while others could have less than the full dose. Anyone who has purchased a Jamp product is being urged to check whether their medication appears on the recall list. Health Canada is also recommending customers consult a health care provider before discontinuing the medication. The lot numbers of the 325 milligram tablets are EG22AMP013, EG22AMP014, and EG22AMP015....
