‘1 Million March’ Calling for Parental Rights Returns Sept. 20

A second annual rally in support of parental rights will be held in various cities across Canada on Sept. 20. The “1 Million March for Children” was birthed out of parental concern about Sexual Orientation and Gender identity (SOGI) material taught in schools. About 33 cities have scheduled rallies, including Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax, organizers say. The 2023 march saw thousands of protesters turn out, along with counter-protesters who accused the demonstration of being a movement of “hate.” One of the this year’s rally organizers in Alberta, Mahmoud Mourra, told The Epoch Times participants are not against the LGBT community, but want more say about what is being taught to children in schools....
