Today the nation commemorated the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks that killed almost 3,000 people. The somber anniversary came amid a heated election campaign season. President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and former President Donald Trump attended a memorial service at Ground Zero in New York City. The two presidential candidates appeared to put their differences aside, shaking hands for the second time in less than 12 hours after their first debate. Both Trump and Harris claimed victory following Tuesday night’s debate.
