
Sweden Foreign Minister Leaves Government Days Before Legislative Session Begins

Sweden’s Minister of Foreign Affairs has announced his exit from the Swedish government just days before the beginning of the Riksdag’s legislative session on Sept. 10. Tobias Billström wrote on X that he notified the prime minister that he’s leaving his post as foreign minister “with a mixture of sadness and pride,” according to a translation from Swedish. “It has not been an easy decision but something that I have thought about and processed for some time,” he said.
