
Alberta RCMP Lifts Cold Lake Shelter-in-Place Order After Search for Armed Suspect

The Alberta RCMP has lifted a shelter-in-place order for residents in the Cold Lake and Bonnyville areas, following a manhunt for an armed suspect. The RCMP issued the initial shelter-in-place warning on the morning of Sept. 2, instructing residents to stay indoors, lock their doors, and call 911 if they see any suspicious activity. Cold Lake and Bonnyville are both located northeast of Edmonton. The order covered an area north of Kingsway, west of 62 Street, south of Township Road 632, and east of Range Road 424, which included the Cold Lake Golf and Country Club.
