
IDF Says Its Units Didn’t Act Decisively to Stop Anti-Palestinian Riot in West Bank

An Israel Defense Forces (IDF) investigation into a riot in a Palestinian village in the West Bank says its first wave of responders did not act decisively enough to stop the violence. A second wave did, and acted bravely, risking their own lives to secure and give first aid to the villagers of Jit, the Aug. 28 report said. During the incident, one Palestinian was killed and another wounded. Three people who were subsequently arrested are still in custody.
