
Harris, Walz Clarify Positions in First Joint Interview; Trump Pitches to Swing Voters in Wisconsin | NTD Good Morning (Aug. 30)
Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz sat down for their first joint interview on Thursday. It was Harris’ first interview since President Biden ended his reelection bid. She clarified some of her stances on policy for border security and the Israel-Hamas war. She says despite some shifts on positions her values have not changed. Harris and Former President Trump will debate for the first time on September 10th. Former President Trump campaigned in Wisconsin on Aug. 29, laying out his economic policies to combat high energy costs. He also floated the idea of free IVF treatments, while trying to appeal to independent and undecided voters. Some voters are waiting for the first debate between Trump and Harris.
