California Doctor Shot to Death Outside Medical Clinic Identified

Family members have identified the doctor who was shot to death outside a Los Angeles medical clinic as 61-year-old Hamid Mirshojae. Ahang Zarin, Mirshojae’s ex-wife, wrote in a Facebook post on Aug. 27 that their four children are shocked and miss their father. “They took Hamid away from us right in front of his practice. He was always helping people seeing tens and thousands of patients for decades we fought HARD to make life happen starting from nothing in the apartment and still the world is so cold,” Zarin wrote. “He left the world with 4 beautiful children.” Mirshojae was found with a gunshot wound near his car on Aug. 23 in front of his workplace, the Woodland Hills Medical Clinic & Urgent Care in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles....
