
Six Flags to Require Chaperones for Youth 15 and Under at Fright Fest Extreme

Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles County will require guests ages 15 and under to be accompanied by a chaperone for the theme park’s Fright Fest Extreme, which begins Sept. 7, according to an announcement on its website. The park said increasing incidents of “unruly and inappropriate behavior” over the last few years led to the new policy, which matches policies at other entertainment venues. Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, owned by the same company, adopted a similar policy in 2022 over an increasing number of fights during the summer.
