Russia, Ukraine Agree to Prisoner Exchange in UAE-Brokered Deal

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to another prisoner swap deal, the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. In a statement released on Saturday, the ministry said its efforts to meditate between the Russian Federation and Ukraine had resulted in another successful agreement to facilitate the exchange of prisoners between the two waring nations. The two nations have completed “a new prisoner exchange process that included 230 prisoners, equally divided between the two sides,” it said.
