North Carolina Candidate Sues State Over Law Against ‘Ballot Selfies’

A woman has filed a lawsuit against the North Carolina elections board over state laws that criminalize photos in polling places after she was notified she may have violated the law with a selfie.The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. Eastern District Court of North Carolina on Aug. 22 by Susan Hogarth, a resident and registered voter of Wake County, North Carolina.Hogarth, who is running as the Libert
