The time for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war is now, Foreign Secretary David Lammy has said on visit to Israel with his French counterpart Stéphane Séjourné. Lammy and Séjourné met with Israeli foreign minister Israel Katz and the country’s minister of strategic affairs, Ron Dermer, on Friday, as well as visiting the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
