
More Than 9,600 DeWALT Lawn Mowers Recalled Over Injury Risk

Close to 10,000 DeWALT battery-powered electric lawn mowers are being recalled due to the risk of injury, according to Health Canada. The recall, issued on Aug. 15, indicates that owners should stop using the mower immediately if the handle of the machine has gotten wet. “If water gets into the mower’s handle support while the battery is installed, the mower can fail to shut off when the bail handle is released or start without a key, posing a laceration hazard to the user,” the recall notice said.
