
1 Suspect Arrested in Los Angeles Commercial Burglaries, 3 Others Sought

LOS ANGELES—One of four suspects in the burglaries of a shoe store in the Canoga Park neighborhood and a nearby business in Woodland Hills early before sunrise Wednesday was arrested. Officers were sent to the 7200 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, near Sherman Way, at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday regarding a burglary in progress at a shoe store, where they discovered a white van parked outside, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Four suspects fled without complying with officers’ orders. A brief pursuit ensued before the suspects exited the vehicle and ran into an alley toward the rear of 7200 Owensmouth Avenue, about two-tenths of a mile away....
