Summer is a time for travelling and relaxing, but Canadians need to stay ahead of cyber criminals and on top of cyber security. Here are some tips to protect your data and privacy online, no matter where you are this summer, courtesy of the Canadian Bankers Association. Data Backup Before leaving for vacation, back up device data. Put all your photos, documents, and other important content onto an external backup device for protection. It should include content from phones, tablets, and laptops just in case the original devices get damaged or lost. Keep Updated Prepare for your time away by updating the software on your devices.
