A passenger plane in Brazil crashed into a residential area near Sao Paulo, killing all 61 people on board according to the airline. It was a turboprop plane on a regional route. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. A federal judge delayed former President Trump’s January 6th case to at least September 5th, at the request of Special counsel Jack Smith. Prosecutors with Smith’s office want more time to decide how to proceed, after the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity. A California man was sentenced to 20 years in prison in one of the longest sentences so far among January 6th defendants.
