
Mother’s Death in Santa Cruz County Investigated as Homicide

A 25-year-old mother whose remains were found in a remote area of Santa Cruz County died of stab wounds, the sheriff’s department said Aug. 7. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies found the body of Lizbeth Arceo Sedano, of Watsonville, near the corner of Eureka Canyon and Grizzly Flat roads in a forested area of the county Sunday. Forensic evidence pointed to homicide, according to a sheriff’s department spokesperson. Such determined “her cause of death was multiple stab wounds to her torso and [the] manner is homicide,” public information officer Ashley Keehn told The Epoch Times Wednesday.
