Buca di Beppo, a popular family-style Italian dining brand, announced its decision to voluntarily file for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The filing was made on Aug. 5 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. The move is aimed at optimizing operations and positioning the brand for future success, the company said in a press release. As part of its restructuring efforts, Buca di Beppo is focusing on 44 core locations and is in the process of opening one new location, the company said.
