Government Working on Renewable Waste Management to Complement Net Zero Push

The Australian government is currently considering how its renewable waste management and recovery of resources can be improved. A spokesperson Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water (DCCEEW) told The Epoch Times that this consideration follows a request by environment ministers in October 2022 to strengthen Australia’s efforts towards meeting the 2030 targets under its National Waste Policy Action Plan.
