
Los Angeles Homeowner Scares Off Burglary Suspects Using Paintball Gun
LOS ANGELES—A man from the Tarzana neighborhood with an elaborate security camera system foiled an attempted burglary at a neighbor’s home overnight, scaring off the suspects with bright lights and a paintball gun, authorities said July 31. Officers were sent to the 5400 block of Aura Avenue, a couple blocks south of the Ventura (101) Freeway, at about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police were seeking three to four males wearing masks who fled in a four-door sedan. According to broadcast reports, the residents were home when the suspects went onto their property.
