Trams Blocked in 2nd Night of Protests Over Manchester Airport Arrest Video

Protests ran into a second night on Thursday after a video went viral of a man apparently being kicked in the head by a police officer at Manchester Airport. Roads and tram lines were blocked in Manchester city centre during a protest after an officer was suspended following the incident which occurred in the airport’s terminal 2 on Tuesday. Videos online appeared to show demonstrators, some with their faces covered, throwing eggs at Rochdale police station the same evening. The family of the man in video allegedly being kicked by the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officer called on the protesters to ensure calm prevails....
