Quebec RCMP Received 24 Reports of Chinese Foreign Interference Since 2023

The RCMP in Quebec has received 24 reports of foreign interference by the Chinese regime over a period of about one year. Most reports came in even before the province recently launched a special program to encourage tips, which saw half a dozen reports coming in within a week. “Since March 2023, the RCMP in Quebec received approximately 24 reports,” an RCMP spokesperson said in an emailed statement to The Epoch Times on July 23. The police force this month took the rare step of launching a special public campaign asking for tips about China’s interference in Quebec. “We are actively investigating allegations of criminal activities related to Chinese Foreign Interference in Quebec. Report any form of threats, harassment or intimidation anonymously from the Chinese Communist Party,” the police force said on July 9....
