Day-Old Infant Found Dead Inside Los Angeles Home

LOS ANGELES—Police on July 24 are investigating the death of a one-day-old female infant found in a house in the Woodland Hills neighborhood. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the baby’s death as a homicide, NBC 4 reported. According to broadcast reports, a 23-year-old woman who appeared to have recently given birth, arrived at the emergency room of a Woodland Hills hospital just before 6 p.m. July 23. The woman had extensive bleeding and around 7:15 p.m. officers then escorted the woman to her residence in the area of Burbank Boulevard and Woodlake Avenue, ABC 7 reported.
