Harris says she will earn and win the Democratic presidential nomination. U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle testified before the House Oversight Committee today on the attempted Trump assassination. Lawmakers criticized what they called Cheatle’s lack of transparency and called for her resignation. The Secret Service director acknowledged her agency’s failures but refused to resign. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is headed to Washington, D.C. to meet with President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss Israel’s ongoing war against Hamas. He’s also expected to address a joint session of Congress for the fourth time, the first world leader ever to do so....
