
Pass the Lemonade: Heat Advisory Issued for LA Region
Californians should expect temperatures to heat up again after July 21 as forecasters say another heat wave is headed to the state. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for the Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara region Friday as thermometers started rising. The Santa Monica Mountains, other mountain areas in the region, and Antelope Valley were expected to be the hottest with temperatures reaching eight to 10 degrees above normal, according to Mike Wofford, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service’s Oxnard office. “Those are the areas particularly being impacted by the heat,” Mr. Wofford told The Epoch Times.
