Court Grants Injunction to Prevent USPS From Retaliating Against Workers Who Report Injuries

A federal court has granted an injunction to “permanently prevent” the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) from retaliating against workers who report work-related injuries, the Department of Labor (DOL) said on July 16. The DOL said it had obtained a consent judgment from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on July 3, along with a landmark injunction that prevents the USPS from retaliating against workers across 59 locations in Washington state for reporting injuries.
