Several high-profile celebrities and other notable figures have taken to social media to voice their support for former President Donald Trump after an assassination attempt was made at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. Business magnate Elon Musk wrote on X that he “fully” endorses the former president, who is currently in Milwaukee attending the Republican National Convention, where he was formally nominated as the GOP presidential candidate. Mr. Musk also expressed well wishes for the former president’s “rapid recovery,” later writing that the “last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt.” Former President Trump was wounded in the shooting after a bullet pierced his right ear.
