Los Angeles Restaurant Gritz N Wafflez Closes for Day Due to Vehicle Theft

LOS ANGELES—The popular Los Angeles restaurant Gritz N Wafflez was forced to close for business Sunday morning, July 7, due to a vehicle theft, according to the owner. “It’s been a DAY and it’s only 6:30 a.m. As I was loading up groceries for today … I realized that I forgot milk and macaroni. I run in to grab it and come out and my car is gone,” owner Jurni Rayne posted on Instagram. “I know I shouldn’t have left it running, but I THOUGHT that it wouldn’t get far without my keys (I still have them). So I call the police at 5 a.m. At 6:30 a.m. and I decided to go to the station…only to find out they don’t open til 7. Honestly, I’m upset about the car, but I’m more upset about my groceries,” Ms. Rayne continued....
