New Jersey Sued Over Laws Requiring Permits to Buy and Carry Guns

A New Jersey man and two gun rights groups are claiming that state and local officials use the law to violate New Jerseyans’ Second Amendment rights. They filed a lawsuit on June 18, asking the court to block laws that require permits to purchase and carry firearms, and that limit residents to buying one gun each month.
