
2 Killed, 3 Hurt in Huntington Beach Stabbing on July Fourth
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—A stabbing in Huntington Beach left two people dead, and three other people injured, with one person “in custody,” authorities said Friday. The attack was reported at about 11:15 p.m. Thursday near 16th Street and Pecan Avenue, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD). It is a neighborhood of multi-family buildings, according to Google. “Upon arrival, officers located several victims with significant injuries,” police posted on X, formerly Twitter. “As a result of this incident, unfortunately 2 individuals succumbed to their injuries. An additional 3 individuals were transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We have 1 person in custody.
