SWOMOG Children’s Pajamas Sold on Amazon Recalled Due to Burn Hazard

A children’s pajama set that was sold online via Amazon is being recalled due to a potential burn hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on July 3. The recall impacts roughly 27,400 units of children’s two-piece pajama sets made by ShenZhen Bai Si Te Clothing Limited Company, which does business under the name of SWOMOG, based in China. The sets were sold in satin and ribbed modal fabrics, according to the notice. The sets violate federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard to children, the CPSC said. Under those regulations, children’s sleepwear must be “flame resistant and self-extinguish if a flame from a candle, match, lighter, or a similar item causes it to catch fire.”...
