
Sunscreen Foundation Recalled Over Mould Contamination Concerns
Canadians using foundation doubling as a sunscreen should check their cosmetic bags to see if their brand has been recalled for potential mould contamination. Health Canada has issued a recall notice for nine lots of Suntegrity Impeccable Skin Sunscreen Foundation due to potential fungal contamination. The June 27 notice didn’t say how many bottles have been sold in Canada, but the agency is advising customers to consult with their health care provider if they have any concerns. Suntegrity Skincare announced it was recalling several shades of the sunscreen foundation in a May 24 advisory on its website.
