President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will face off in the first presidential debate tonight at 9 p.m. eastern time. They will be in Atlanta, Georgia for the 90-minute event. The Supreme Court Thursday put the Environmental Protection Agency’s “good neighbor” plan on hold while legal challenges continue. The air pollution regulation was aimed at reducing ozone emissions from upwind states. Three Republican-led states and the steel and fossil-fuel industries brought the lawsuit. The Supreme Court blocked Purdue Pharma’s bankruptcy settlement, which would have shielded the Sackler family from lawsuits over their alleged role in the opioid epidemic.
