Armed Father Beats Uber Driver During Alleged Rape of His Daughter

A father in Washington state discovered an Uber driver allegedly sexually assaulting his daughter over Father’s Day weekend and tried to shoot the driver but missed. Instead, he and other relatives beat the driver who appeared bruised in court on Monday, June 17, to face rape and kidnapping charges. The Uber driver, identified as 58-year-old Ahmed Ali, allegedly picked up an intoxicated woman early Saturday, June 15, morning who was drinking with friends at some Olympia-area bars, according to a press release by the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO).
