NEW YORK CITY—As New York City faces several days of very high temperatures, its Emergency Management team has issued warnings for people to take care of themselves and others. Last year, 350 people died in the city during elevated summer temperatures. The elderly and people with health conditions like asthma or heart disease are particularly at risk, officials said.
