President Joe Biden has announced a new plan that will grant a path to citizenship for up to half a million illegal immigrants. The plan would allow the spouses of U.S. citizens who do not have legal status to apply for permanent residency and, eventually, citizenship in the coming months. Eighty percent of Americans are facing a multi-day heatwave of over 90 degrees. The National Weather Service said the heatwave is expected to tie or break temperature records in up to 200 cities across the country.
