7 Cheeses Recalled in Canada Due to Potential Microbial Contamination

Three cheese brands are being recalled in four provinces due to possible microbial contamination, according to Health Canada. Five types of Rumba Cheeses, as well as one type each of Sabana and Sombrero cheeses are being recalled in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. Affected products include Rumba Queso Campesino Country Cheese, Rumba Asadero Mexican Style Cheese, Rumba Queso Fresco Fresco Cheese, Rumba Campesino, Rumba Asadero, Sabana Queso Fresco Grilling Cheese, and Sombrero Asadero Grilling Cheese. The lot-code information for all seven affected cheeses is available on the Health Canada website.
