Woman Held in Fatal Shooting at Anaheim Home

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly shooting one man to death and stabbing another during a gang-related attack at a home in Anaheim, authorities said June 16. Officers were dispatched at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday to the 800 block of West Cottonwood Circle regarding a shooting that had just occurred, said Sgt. Matt Sutter of the Anaheim Police Department. “Before emergency services arrived, two victims were transported to a local hospital by witnesses,” Mr. Sutter said. Jose Andres Abrego, 30, who had at least one gunshot wound, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
