Universal Studios Hollywood Offers Buy a Day, Get 2nd Day Free Ticket

LOS ANGELES—Universal Studios Hollywood announced a deal June 13 that offers visitors a chance to double their time at the park, by purchasing a ticket for a day and receiving a second day free. There are no blockout dates for the first visit as part of the limited-time offer, theme park officials said in a statement. However, blockout dates do apply to the second visit. Visitors can purchase the limited-time offer ticket through Oct. 9 and enjoy their second day free on select dates. All visits must be completed on or before Dec. 18 of this year. Now through Aug. 11, visitors will also have a chance to experience the Studio Tour’s 60th anniversary, which includes an opportunity to step off the tram and onto a legendary movie set, theme park officials said. The area provides more photo opportunities, including a giant King Kong backdrop and the theme park’s original hanging Jaws shark....
