
Girl, 9, Dies After Electric Motorbike Crash at Lake Elsinore Sports Park
A collision between two young riders at a motorbike park in western Riverside County, California, over the weekend led to the death of a 9-year-old girl, authorities said. The girl was riding an electric motorbike June 2 at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park when she and another juvenile also on a motorbike collided, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and paramedics responded to the 20700 block of Cereal Street around 10 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a group performing life-saving measures on the girl, later identified as Brooke Carlton, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. The girl was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center, where she later died.
