Former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr said Wednesday that keeping former President Donald Trump’s gag order in place, even after the conclusion of his criminal trial, is “crazy” while describing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s decision to charge the former president in the case as an “abomination.” Mr. Barr made the remarks in an interview on June 5 on Fox News’ “Fox Across America” program after being asked for his comment on President Trump’s recent conviction on 34 felony business records falsification charges.
